Federal Budget Announcement 2024-2025

AustraliaMigrate would like to inform our clients and visitors about a significant update from the Australian Federal Budget for the financial year 2024-2025. The government has announced the removal of the entire Business Innovation and Investment Visa Program (BIIP). Key Details:

  • Program Cease Date: The Business Innovation and Investment Visa Program will officially cease operations. Details are to be confirmed.
  • Refunds Available: Visa application charges will be refunded from September 2024 for those who wish to withdraw their BIIP application (Budget paper 2, p 136).
